FELLING OR DISMANTLE
The complete removal of a tree is sometimes necessary due to poor health, outgrown its position or damaging property. Every tree varies in size and location, so you need highly skilled, qualified staff to carry out the work. Our staff will deal with trees of any size and in any location.
Usually trees must be section felled, rigged down using ropes to prevent damage to your property or gardens. Sometimes when the tree is too dangerous or dead we have to use power platforms to ensure the operation is safe.
Less common is to be able to fell a tree from the ground.
The word pruning covers a number of different tree pruning operations. From crown reducing to making a tree smaller in size, to crown thinning which is selectively removing limbs from within the crown to allow air and light to penetrate the tree, to crown lifting which is removing low limbs to clear people’s heads or over highways to clear the largest lorries or buses. Trees will also need to have dead branches removed as part of a crown clean operation.
